he doesnt know what he’s teaching.
he taught the same slides he taught BBA MIS 7 in ISM to BBA Exec 3 Sec 3 in MIS. i dont know what that implies, whether the BBA 3 is highly techno or the MIS 7 is highly un-techno… but ones things for sure. he doesnt know anythin about what he’s teaching.
oh and most of his slides are wikipedia copy pastes

exactly. but correction, BBA Exec 4. how can he expect those doing exec in 4th semester to be able to do what MIS ppl in their seventh semester did. its crazy. with his cavemen look, his stares, his stupid slides, and his weird temper, its hard not to get pissed and ruin your mood in his classes. plus he gives ultra long syllabus for mids that seems like equal to final syllabus and with all the terms never heard of before, u just got to rattofy the whole thing, which takes the entire night up!

yea. he has that screeaming bit. he screamed so badly at our class. first someone asked something and he started shouting that he is disturbing the class and screaming his head off. then he wasnt giving us the syllabus for finals till like two days before the final. someone else commented that why are you not giving us the syllabus and he said., you want syllabus. abhi dey ta hoon. he threw his markers and said. everything i taught. and walked out of the class.

This Wasim Arain is a real tarkhi… out of a class of over 42 students, he hardly looks at anyone except two hot chicks sitting at the end of the class.. (btw.. 1 is married… i guess he doesn’t know about it yet!)…
He screams at anyone who talks but the chicks do ONLY chatting with themselves, even during his lectures.. and he least cares… maybe he feels happy he can atleast see some silky skin..

HE DOESNT REALLY WANNA TEACH …… BOTTOMLINE …… BESIDES THAT …… HE’S A NICE GUY … !! ALTHOUGH HE DID GIVE ME 7.4/15 IN MA EXAMS … !! OH WELL ……….. BTW IM IN bba 4/3 AND HE TEACHES US MIS !! let your semester end and then you ll get an idea. but yea everyone is nice. and theres a correction in his pursuit . he’s here for the PhD and not the quick buck thing. he cant teach but has to. so suggestions for him on improving his style:
1. dont shout at students. Respect them.
2. dont give absences unfairly
3. there are better books on MIS
4. dont teach the same course to seventh semester MIS students and Fourth semester bba
5. Clear your concepts so that you can clear the concepts of students. dont avoid question. just tell the students you ll look up and they should too and you ll discuss it next class

Waa, bus. Nobody mentioned abt his mentality and indecency to bring a pen to class. Plus the fact that he doesn’t answer all the students questions. Waseem cannot be classified as a teacher. Wat do they say abt motivation and having students excel. Come on man, this guy is terrible at this job. Plus being a person who knows stuff abt IT, you would at least expect him to assist in the maintaining of the IBA cpu’s. None of the pcs are working efficiently and there is always a virus. Come on man, All the stuff he talks abt plans, Utilized one for IBA man.

i have never ever in my very-short-but-lived-extensively life come across anyone like him. i dont understand him and on the countless occassions in which i tried i ended up looking stoned cuz of boredom…in his very tiny speck of a brain we were supposedly sent from heaven with a nice little phd in gizmo-speak in our tiny hands…i can find no other explanation as to why he answers a simple question about business strategy like this: eet is howw ae bizniss aaperates yoozing cumpyooter applications and aaii.tee in eets god-knows-what forr egzaampull thiss purrtickyoolarr firm uses enterprise-something forr its something else…and here i lose track of my surroundings…
god he is such a tragedy king…i dunno if anyone heard him but he actually swore once in our mis class…talk about expelling students for using foul language…
the papers? well that is a story left for another day when my anger is not about to threaten my sanity…long story short only one girl knew everything and no one else knew knew anything else but atleast he granted marks after the disaster in the first midterms…

comments such as the last one should be deleted by the admin. being faculty myself, its a cause of concern that some comments have gone completely out of line and have sexual connotations.
Being the only faculty who has volunteered and then open debated my own evaluation on 1 (non)issue by 2-3 hacklers, I find myself less and less motivated to propose the faculty evaluations section of this forum to others.
