(translation: “there are a lot of things that only we know, you dont”)

Yaseen Meenai: “aap kay liye aik khushkhabri hai. Meri Shadi hogaye hai”

(translation: “Good news for you. I am happily married now”)
Yaseen Meenai: “dekhain, yeh chand anasir hain jo aap ko parhnay nahi dain gay. yeh loag nahi hain, anasir hain”

(translation: looks, there are certain disruptive elements in the class who will not let you study, they are not people, they are disruptive elements )

OF GIVING TOO MANY A’S

September 20, 2007

“I gave a lot of A’s in the previous class, the administration has warned me not to do this anymore. I won’t be giving any A’s this semester.”

The teacher was a visiting faculty, and had given all students but one A’s cause she thought that the students deserved it. The administration thought otherwise. I’d say we lost a nice teacher’s nice habit to a very nasty administration decision to mark grades on a normal curve rather than letting students get what they deserve.

September 20, 2007

Owner of shares does not make a person the owner of the company. well unless the company floated only three shares, in which case majority rules!
