THE MBA THAT’S JUST LIKE THE BBA

By criticiba

In IBA , when you have done your BBA you are allowed to go for a six month internship and then come back to the same God forsaken place to do your MBA in one and a half year unlike other universities that require at least two years of work experience before the MBA. If you don’t want to comeback immediately you seat is open for like ten years, unless you want to change the program. In which case you ll have to give the entrance test, because even after four years of IBA education they still doubt your level of intellect. Talk about not having self-confidence.

Anyways, those who have come back for the so-called Masters are studying the same course, with different names. Like instead of entrepreneurship they are studying entrepreneurial management. Out of six courses , four courses will be repeated. As for the teachers teaching the MBAs, they are  the same who are teaching the BBAs. So whats the difference you ask. Well of the letter of course, when you graduate instead of the B it says M. and more importantly you are beyond frustrated because you have spent six years in the same place learning nothing except how to bullshit your way through everything.

Now you may argue that some people might be studying those course for the first time and that they should be accommodated for, but I ask what is the fault of those students who have actually studied those courses. Why not put them on an accelerated program since they already know the stuff. Or at least give them enough time to forget what they had learnt in the previous courses. In some manner it is unfair to both, for the new entrants, that people from BBA have already done the courses so its easy for them, and for the BBAs that they are repeating (just like I am repeating my argument, see how annoying it is).
